 Film Title : Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior (2020)

1) Story Line : Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior is a biographical period action film starring Ajay Devga, Saif Ali Khan and Kajil. Directed by Om Raut, the film is set in the 17th centuy and based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who is armed forces leader of chh. Shivaji Maharaj, founder of Maratha Empire. The film describe’s Tanhaji’s attempt to recapture the Kondhana fortress once it passes on to the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb who transfers its control to his trusted guard Udaybhan Singh Rathore. This Braveheart went to war, armed with a few Maratha soldiers to get back the Kondana fort, against the Mughal army headed by Udaybhan, Mughal’s had the military power, but Tanhaji had sharp acumen, unfortunately, Marathas won Kondhana Fort, but lost their lion.

7) Message : Tanhaji was endowed with a body of steel, courage of lion with an agile mind. Ready to lay down his life for his king and country. The films gives a message to us be loyal for your country when in need. This film can serve as a strong inspiration for the youth.

8) Significance of the title : All the film moved around the central character of the storySubedar Tanhji Malusure. He is protagonist of the film. Every action and reaction linked with him. The film start with the Treaty of Purandar, in which Chh. Shivaji Maharaj surrendered 23 forts to Aunranzeb including the Kondhana (now called Sinhgad). Tanhaji gets to know the Aaisaheb Jijamatas will of Kondhana Fort, where Tanhaji fights to deadly with Udaybhan. He won the battle and brought back the Kondhana Fort in Swaraj. Tanhaaji Malusure was in unsung Maratha warrior from the 17th century Maratha Empire, whse act of valor and bravery continued to inspire soldiers long after his death in battle. So the title is apt.

Film Title : Sairat (2016)

Genre : Love Story

1) Story Line : Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in their debuts. Prashant ‘Parshya” Kale is a low-caste young boy whose father is fisherman. Archana “Archi” Patil is a daughter of a wealthy, upper caste landlord and politician. Headstrong college going girl enjoys driving a tractor and motorcycle. As the both studied in same college, they fall in love with each other.

On the irth day party of Archi’s younger brother, Prince, they caught red hand in the backyard. Her fater, Tatya beats Parshya and hi friends. Tattya forces the police to register a false complaint. Afterwards succeed in escaped and settled small town to Hydrabad.

In the city a woman from a nearby slum Suman Akka saved them from certain tragedy. She offered them a room, small job. After registered marriage , Prshya and Archi had a son, Aakash. Archi had a phone call to her mother about their grandson. At last Prince and the other visitors into their new flat, and served tea. Aakash who was went outside with neighbor returned. At the doorstep little saw his parents on the floor, bloody and slashed to death.

5) Music ans Songs : Sairat’s music makes you fall in love with the songs from the word go. The film open with Yad Lagala, a romantic track sung by ajay Gogavale, which starts with a beautiful symphony. Next up is Shreya Ghoshals Aatach ga Baya picturised on the Archi. Sairat Jhala ji, is the title track sung by Ajay and Chinamayi Sripada. The most popular track of recent time ingaat sung high on beats this catchy tune cant stop humming and dance. Sairat’s music is attractive =. The song ‘zing zing zingat’ made people dance at cinema halls.

6)Cinematography : Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti is the cinematographer. He shows very real, natural and memorable scenes that becomes milestone in Indian cinemas history. Camera work was just awesome, every scene is shot so beautifully. Cinematography is one of the best features of the movie. It is very real.

8) Setting/Location : Middle class background simple love story is the setting of the story. The film was shot in Manjule’s village, Jeur in Karmala Talula of Solapur district in Maharashtra. And afterwards the story takesplace in small town of Hydrabad.

9) Conflict : Caste discrimination in society

10)Theme : The film is about ‘the challenges of an inte-caste romance and marriage’.

11) Critical View : Sairat particular praise for Rinku Rajguru’s performance. It is not only best cinema in Marathi industry but also in indian cinemas history. It was a rare example of an Indian director addressing caste issues love story on screen.

12) Message: Sairat, has a social message in the film against social and caste inequlity in indian culture or society. Also draw attention towards false status and honor killing.

13) Significance of the title : The story is apt. Sairat title is self-explanatory that might mean freedom of thought, sheer wildness and zeal, passion.

14) My opinion about the film : In my opinion, Sirat the best film with beautiful love story with harsh reality of caste discrimination system in India. I love the music and songs very much.

I give 4 Stars out of 5 to this film because for the best story, acting, dialogue, songs and subject.

3 idiots is a hindi film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and also co- written by him with Abhijat joshi. It is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel ' Five point Someone '.

4.Director - Rajkumar Hirani, one of the famous directors of Bollywood has directed this movie. He has already given several hits like Munnabhai MBBS, Lage raho Munnabhai, P.K. etc.

 5. Music director - Shantanu Moitra has added a true musical flavour to this film. The music of the songs like ' Zoobie Doobie', ' All izz well' and ' jane nahi denge tumhe ' etc.make the movie more melodious.

6. Choreography - Avit Diaz has beautifully choreographed various songs in the movie especially the songs like ' Aal Izz well'..

7. The Storyline - The story revolves around three best friends trying to fulfill their parental expectations of becoming a successful engineer. It is a journey of the three youngsters trying to prove themselves in life amidst the over dominating nature of their teacher.

8. Dialogue - The serious yet humorous dialogues in the movie walks away with the best comic scenes of the year especially with the superhit dialogue ' All Izz well'.

9. Cinematography ( Setting / location ) - The streets of Delhi and the beauty of ladakh are captured by Muraleedharan C.K.

10. Message - The movie teaches us to always listen to our hearts and follow our passion. It passes on a message to lead our life simply the way we would like it to be.

11. Recommendation - I would strongly recommend everyone to go and watch this movie at least once as it motivates us to lead our life as per our wish. It motivates us to increase our confidence and lead our life towards success.

Title : Shyamchi Aai

Characters : Shyam and his mother Yashoda

Story : Shyamchi Aai is an autobiography. Shyam (fondly name of Sane Guruji) is narrator of the story. He delineates his memories from childhood to adulthood. At the onset story begins with mother's recalls to children of ashram which takes them down the memory way at Palgad, a small village in Konkan. The story minutely describes the life of little Shyam and his mother Yashoda, through short but real-life moments. Off course the protagonist of this novel is Shyam's mother- Yashoda. She represents or signifies to the all mother's of universe who taking care of her children at any cost. She is very simple, wise and self-esteem women. She always sticks with principles even though neck deep poverty. Despite the poverty, She nurtured her kids so well and proudly. She teaches life lessons to her children from real life incidents. This chain of real life incidents are the story.

Conclusion : The book is not only about a mother and a son, but also expresses deep love for father, family, friends and nation. The story ends on very sad mode. The death of the mother is ill-fated because at the last moment of her life Shyam is far away from his village for pursuing his higher education. The end is very heart touching.

Your Opinion : Shyamchi Aai has been a Marathi classic for the last 86 years. In my opinion not only Marathi-speaking children but all language children must have read this book.Don't miss it. Each and every examples from the book gives Midas touch to our life.

Ratings : I give 5 stars to this books as it teaches the children rare values and manners.
